Joining Kesla Poultry Society (KPS) as a poultry producer in 2014, she gradually emerged as a trusted voice among poultry-producing families through her dedication and active engagement with the community.

Her leadership abilities and strong connection with producers led to her being elected President of KPS in 2016. From a remote tribal village named Jamundol in Narmadapuram to presenting the KPS model before Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Krishi Unnati Mela 2018, her journey demonstrates how rural women can grow into capable leaders and powerful representatives of their communities.

Mrs. Asha Bai is a rural entrepreneur and poultry farmer with practical experience in livestock and poultry management. She has completed her education up to Class 8 and has been actively engaged in poultry farming for several years.

Through her dedication and hard work, she has contributed to improving household income and promoting self-employment opportunities in her community, gaining valuable knowledge of animal husbandry, farm management, and rural livelihood development along the way.

Mrs. Asha Bai represents grassroots community perspectives and understands the challenges and opportunities faced by rural families, particularly women in agriculture and allied activities — making her a valuable contributor to the Board.

Mrs. Pushpa Rawat is a respected member and Director of MPWPCL and currently serves as the President of the Churhat Mahila Murgi Palan Sahkari Samiti Maryadit, Badhokar. Since 2004, she has been actively engaged in poultry farming under the SHP model.

After the loss of her husband, she continued poultry farming with determination and used the income from the enterprise to support and raise her children. Today, she successfully manages a 300-bird poultry unit and has been recognised as the Best Poultry Producer of the Churhat Cooperative for five consecutive years.

Through her dedication and leadership, she has inspired many rural and tribal women to adopt poultry farming as a sustainable livelihood.

Smt. Inti Devi, President of MP Women Poultry Producers Company Limited, epitomises the true spirit of grassroots economic empowerment in rural India. Her extraordinary journey from a resilient construction worker to a strategic key decision-maker of a Producer Company is a testament to the power of dedication and collective growth.

As a visionary leader and skilled negotiator, she has been instrumental in organising and guiding tribal women, transforming backyard poultry rearing into a sustainable and profitable livelihood source. Under her capable leadership, the Producer Company has evolved from a mere business entity into a platform of solidarity and financial independence for marginalised women.

Narvadi Bai of Tajpura village, Lateri block, Vidisha, joined the organisation in May 2012. Her commitment and leadership led to her election as President in June 2012, a role she held successfully for nearly ten years.

She later continued as a Board Member and, in 2024, was elected to the Board of MPWPCL. Through continuous learning and experience, she has developed into a successful entrepreneur and now manages a 1,000-capacity farm.

Narvadi Bai has inspired many women in her community to pursue financial independence, with several achieving the "Lakhpati Didi" milestone — a powerful example of how leadership and enterprise can strengthen rural communities.

Mrs. Chandrakali Markam, from Kureli village in Dindori district, is a pioneering rural entrepreneur and an inspiring leader in women-led livelihood development. She began poultry farming in 2006, becoming one of the first women in her region to take up the activity and inspiring many others to follow the same path.

In 2007, she was elected President of the Rani Durgawati Murgipalak Sahkari Samiti, Dindori, where she continues to play an active leadership role, and today serves as a proud Board Director of MPWPCL.

Lakshmi Bai's story starts in a small village in Madhya Pradesh with an axe in her hand, not a business plan. Like many rural women, she earned wages cutting and selling firewood — hard, seasonal work with low pay and no security. She has completed her education till matriculation (10th).

She started small with 400 birds in her backyard. The income was steadier than wood cutting, and she could work from home while managing household work. Other women in her village saw her results and asked her to guide them — that credibility took her from member to leader.

Today she sits on the Board of MPWPCL, representing ground realities: what training women actually need, what input costs hurt most, and how procurement can work better at village level — moving from daily-wage insecurity to owning an asset, and from beneficiary to decision-maker.

Mrs. Rajni Kewat is a resilient entrepreneur and community leader who supports her family through poultry rearing and daily wage work. Despite having no farmland and limited resources, she manages an 800-bird poultry unit, which generated an income of ₹79,070 in FY 2025–26.

Along with contributing to her household and supporting the education of her three sons, Rajni actively promotes women's empowerment and cooperative development in her area. Since 2025, she has served as a Board Director of MPWPCL, reflecting her commitment to leadership and community progress.

Mrs. Ramli Jamra is a rural entrepreneur and poultry farmer with practical experience in livestock and poultry management. She has completed her education up to Class 8 and has been actively engaged in poultry farming for several years.

Mrs. Ramli Jamra represents grassroots community perspectives and has a good understanding of the challenges faced by rural families, particularly women in agriculture and allied activities.

Mrs. Geeta Ahirwar's journey reflects determination and entrepreneurial growth. Before entering poultry farming, she worked as a daily wage labourer at construction sites in Jammu and supplemented her family's income by collecting tendu leaves and mahua flowers in her village.

She began poultry rearing in 2011 at her mother-in-law's 400-chick farm. After joining the cooperative society in 2014–15, she established her own 700-chick poultry farm through her savings and cooperative support. In 2023, she further expanded by setting up a second 500-chick poultry shed with financial assistance from the cooperative and a bank loan.

Mrs. Meena Bai is an inspiring rural entrepreneur and successful poultry farmer. Despite studying only up to Class 8 and coming from a family dependent on two acres of agricultural land, she adopted poultry farming to create a stronger and more reliable source of income for her family.

Today, poultry farming contributes nearly 50% of her household's total income, helping her provide better educational opportunities for her children and access various government welfare schemes.

Mrs. Meena Bai also plays an active leadership role in the poultry sector. She serves on the Board of Directors of MPWPCL and is a member of the Management Board of Katni Women Poultry Products Company, contributing to organisational development and decision-making.
