MPWPCL’s success story was recognized by Access Livelihood where it begged first place in the “Sitaram Rao Livelihood Competition 2011”.
MP Poultry Federation, MP WOMEN POULTRY PRODUCERS COMPANY [www.mpwpcl.org] has received the FPO [Large Category] of the year, 2018. The award was received by Ms. Saroj bai, President of MPWPCL, at a function held in New Delhi on 28th Jan, 2019.
Maikal Women Poultry Producers Company has been adjudged as Best FPO- West region
Very happy to share that our Maikal Women Poultry Producers Company, an unit of almost 1000 tribal women poultry producers of Anuppur district (MP), has been adjudged as Best FPO- West region by The Economic Times and the award was received by FPO’s President, Ms. Chanda bai in a function held today in New Delhi. Needless to mention that these women were promoted as poultry producers with supports of Anuppur district administration, and this FPO does annual business of more than 30 crores.
CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Award 2020 under Micro Enterprise category
Chandrakali Markam a smallholder poultry producer, from village Kurile of Somnapur block of Dindori district (MP), received the CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Award 2020 under Micro Enterprise category. She is selected as one amongst the 15 women in the country, in recognition of her exemplary works in organising and running a successful Poultry co-op society of 360 tribal women in the district, with an annual business of over INR 12.0 Crores. This society is a part of M P Women Poultry Producers Company (MPWPCL), a federation of 8,121 women poultry producers from deprived communities in the state.
